Umm

Umm well the credit card balance is going up again- I booked tickets to go and see Phil and Magenta in Christchurch. Cheap fare one way though! Hmm maybe I can do some extra work for a week or two to pay that lol.

Another update

...although there really isn't anything much to update! I had registered for a cardmaking class but they cancelled it due to lack of numbers, and Kathryn and I had planned to go and kayak but the weather wasn't good enough. I've hardly been out walking- weather again! And I've slipped up on the coffee and am trying to cut down again!
The credit card is getting there, only $200 to go, so that's something at least.

Update

Well the weather's been pretty bad this week so I've only had time for 2 20 minute walks. I have started to try and get rid of the big pile of weeds and compost that's been there since before we moved in here (and I've been adding to it!). The man who mows my lawn has lent me his trailer just for the weekend so I can load stuff on to it. However I only had 20 minutes of daylight last night after work and I had to work today as well (Saturday) and the forecast isn't too great for tomorrow - and I'm on call anyways. Still, the pile has reduced by about a quarter! So it's a start and maybe he'll loan me his trailer on another weekend.

Yay another one done!

I've finished weeding! Number 34 done. Well- at least for now lol. This one will be ongoing, but at least the major cleanup is done, it will be maintenance from now on (hopefully)

Number 66 done

Number 66 completed yesterday, 2 August 2006.

One 2000 piece jigsaw completed! Sanity still there (just!). No more jigsaws ever (well for a long time!)

It's done!!

Number 66 is officially completed - yay! It's taken me 10 days but I did it! Proof of the completed jigsaw coming in the next day or two when I can take a pxt of it in daylight.

What have I learnt from this?
Well, perserverance, not giving up when I wanted to many times. Trying again if I completed an area wrong. Oh, and I have learnt I don't want to do another jigsaw in a looong time!
